		<description>I know a lot of people disagree with me, but I am a firm believe in scheduled oversleeps.  I look at it this way, sleep deprivation is a lot like lifting weights.  Your body needs a bit of recovery time before it can move on to the next level.  You wouldn&#039;t lift the same muscle groups three days in a row; this has the same effect on the body.

So how do you adapt to this as a normal pattern?  I always did a overshoot and step back.  When adapting to everyman, I do three days of cutting sleep and then take a step back.  So, say your core is seven hours, Day 1 sleep 6.5, Day 2 6, Day 3 5.5. Day 4 6 Day 5 5.5 and on.

This extra sleep makes the body think it&#039;s catching up and adapt quicker.  If you want naps to be more effective, I would try three days of doing only 10 minute naps.  Then when you go back to 20 they should feel a lot more fulfilling.
