Basically I try to get 1g of protein per lb of lean body mass. So in my case thats around 180g of protein. Now since I'm on a cut(calorie restricted diet) I try to stay below 2500 calories. More like 2000 or so. Fat and carbs are very calorie dense. So foods that have a high fat/carb to protein ratio just don't work. Also low carb doesn't mean no carb. I'm not on adkins or a Keto diet. Oatmeal, especially the steel cut kind, is made up of complex whole food carbs. The toast i mentioned would be whole wheat. And i usually have most of my carbs in the morning to get my body going. At the end of the day it all somehow adds up right. In the near future i may add a full day example of my diet and macro nutrition.

Interesting that your diet seems to be low in fat and carbs, which really isn't healthy. Too much lean protein will lead to rabbit starvation.

Also toast, oatmeal and rice don't sound very low-carb.

Just curious...
